A master trust is an investment vehicle that collectively manages pooled investments. NZ employer superannuation schemes are normally managed through a master trust for administrative simplicity. They are a cost effective way of providing superannuation options to employees.

Every quarter we collate data from all the master trusts in New Zealand and present our views of what we’re seeing. Our survey provides annualised investment returns after fees and tax at the highest tax rate.
